Trendy Hazelnut

The most versatile and all-purpose color on the list of the spring 2017 fashion colors that pantone has presented? No doubt that that color is Hazelnut , an earthy neutral coloring, although it is a tone lighter than the natural hazelnut the color is still  so warm and gentle with some royal and elegant factor to it. It is a perfect shade for spring and summer due to its high saturation which fits very well into all the pastel colors that are foreseen as trend colors for spring and summer 2017. It is a very warm and charming color and most importantly, this is a shade that works during spring and summer but also  charms all year round and connects especially those two seasons very well with each other.

The color can be described as a light brown, caramel brown or caramel tan. On the color wheel it sits in between the secondary orange and yellow color, which makes it a  nice light mixture of the  yellow and orange palette and resonates some white aspects, which makes it such a earthy neutral color.

During the Spring/Summer 2017 Fashion Week Hazelnut was shining at its unpretentious glory especially during the Zadig & Voltaire show that presented many of their street style chic pieces in the light brown tone, aswell as the Yeezy Season. Hazelnut also came to versatility of itself  starting from those slouchy, ultra-cool pieces at Baja East to some elegant options at Creatures of the Wind to sexy silhouettes at Cushnie et Ochs

Consumers of this color will most likely be middle aged men/women who like to play on the safer side with their color, however are still very fashion forward as I would claim that this color can not easily be worn by everyone, it can easily look conservative and bland so it needs to be paired with some outstanding accessoires or maybe another very bold color piece that adds nice contrast to the light hazelnut color. Not only will this color be very popular in fashion trends however it will also be seen a lot within home decor and furniture.pantone-hazelnut-interior-design-product-roundup-M.png
